You make your own decisions and stand by them.  You give orders and expect them to be immediately followed.  You walk into a room and all eyes are on you.  You are the Executive Man.

If confidence in a $2,000 suit could be bottled, this is what it would smell like.

    1. Smells like a million bucks

Stirling nails it again! This is the scent I use on my meeting days and it gets noticed. The lather and slickness and guide is amazing. I paired this with my Merkur 34c and feather blade. I am anxious to put the aftershave splash and balm in my arsenal. on 17th Aug 2017

    2. wonderful smell

I just love the smell and performance of this soap. I will be ordering the aftershave in the future and plan to keep this soap in my rotation. on 10th Aug 2017

    3. great shave, scent, and a clean brush even after a whole puck

The title says it all it's a great scent and the best shave I have tried after several other soaps. It doesn't leave your brush all gunked up either! on 8th Aug 2017

    4. Great smell, great soap

Very good smelling soap that has a noticeable but not overpowering scent. on 31st Jul 2017

    5. My favorite scent!!

I love this scent, my favorite so far, I have about 7 of Stirling shave soaps so far and this is my favorite, nice clean crisp scent not overpowering, I just ordered the after shave spash to go along with it. on 19th Jul 2017

    6. Great shave, mediocre lather

This is my first Stirling soap and I have only used it three times. For some reason, I could not get the thick, rich lather I was expecting and get from other soaps. The lather I did get was very slick and provided an excellent shave with almost no irritation. I will keep working on my water ratio and hopefully achieve the lather it seems others get. The scent is very nice. on 17th Jul 2017

    7. goooooood

Smells good, feels good. Wife approved. on 12th Jul 2017

    8. Crazy good

By far my favorite scent to date. It's not overpowering yet leaves behind a scent that is amazing. For me it's a very classic scent, reminiscent of the days I used to go to the barber with my dad. A real barber.... The soap lathers up great and is super smooth to the razor. You can't go wrong with this scent. on 29th Jun 2017

    9. Olfaction Attraction

Wow! Plan to keep some Executive Man always at the ready. My Junior High kid just happened to be running the Swiffer in the next room while I was shaving. She stopped and looked and said, " is that your shaving cream I smell. That really smells good." BTW, I got a great shave to boot!

Cynically wondered about all these 5-star ratings for by nearly every reviewer of Stirling shave soaps. But now I too can do no less than concur with the masses.

    10. Stirling for life!!

This stuff loads easily! The lather is superb! The scent is AMAZING! I only bought the sample puck and I have easily gotten 8 (3 Pass) shaves with it and there is still plenty left in the mug. I tried another Artisan soap brand that is non-tallow based and was greatly disappointed. Stirling soaps, regardless of what scent you choose, will out perform ANY shave soap available to mankind! Seriously this stuff has improved the skin on my face and it makes shaving a pleasure rather than a hassle. I will be an exclusive Stirling Soap user for life! on 22nd Jun 2017

    11. Great product

Great smelling product. Great shave. on 16th Jun 2017

    12. NAILED the scent!

I recently received a bottle of Creed Aventus as a gift,, and let me tell you, Stirling Soap Company NAILED the scent with their Executive Man shave soap! I honestly can't tell much difference (if any at all) between the scents of Executive Man and Creed Aventus. Like all of Stirling's shave soaps, it lathers very well, makes everything it touches extremely slick, and feels fantastic, post-shave. Exceptional scent and performance! Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on this one. on 15th Jun 2017

    13. Top shelf

After having bought this soap a couple of weeks ago, tonight I decided to try it for the first time. As with all my other Stirling soaps, it lathers beautifully, even considering I have hard water. The smell is top shelf and masculine. I highly recommend this scent and Stirling, in general. on 9th Jun 2017

    14. Top of the rotation

Everyone knows Stirling Soaps are top notch performance. The scent was fantastic... I want to use it everyday but I almost don't want to get used to it. Maybe I'll save it for special occasions when I'm feeling fancy. Like Monday through Friday. on 2nd May 2017

    15. One of my favorites so far!

I'd seen this shave soap recommended on a variety of sites, especially r/wicked_edge over on Reddit. It lathers well, the smell is fantastic, and my fiancee is actually okay with me shaving now! If I ever actually run out of the tin I know that I will be ordering a second one. on 1st May 2017

    16. lathers up good. smells good.

      Great! on 14th Apr 2017

    17. Great soap, Great scent

Soap is outstanding along with the scent on 14th Apr 2017

    18. Fantastic Performance with a Great Scent

I purchased the Stirling shaving soap after having read many positive reviews about its performance. I'd been hesitant to try the shaving soap given that quite a bit of information online pointed towards lathering difficulties (to the point that the Stirling website has a whole page dedicated to lathering tips).

But, I decided to put aside my hesitation after receiving a free sample of the bath soap in the Executive Man fragrance when I purchased a Stirling shaving brush. I liked both the customer service and the scent of the bath soap so much that I decided to place a larger order of the bath soap. I thought the bath soap purchase gave me a good excuse to try the shaving soap, and bought both the Executive Man and the Stirling Gentleman scents.

I'm relatively new to using shaving soaps, having begun to use them only over the past six months or so, after using high-quality shaving creams for approximately three years prior to that. I'd had varying results from the array of creams and soaps, running the spectrum from 'hated it' (Speik and Trumper creams), through 'not bad' (Proraso, Musgo Real, TOBS), 'really liked it' (St James of London and Truefitt & Hill creams, Tcheon Fung Sing and Razorock original formula soaps), to 'absolutely love it' (Castle Forbes cedarwood and sandalwood cream, Razorock lanolin formula soap in the Tuscan Oud scent).

These last two in particular, I've found work very, very well for me; they have been my favorites over the past year, and what I shave with most often (with the SJL and T&H creams mixed in frequently). From the CF and RR lanolin, I get great lather, great closeness, great post-shave, and with scents that I really enjoy day after day. The CF cream is pretty spendy; the RR lanolin formula is much lower priced, so it's easy to be less stingy with it.

After a couple weeks of using the Stirling shaving soap, I am very, very happy with it. I prefer lathering on my face rather than in a bowl or on my palm. And yes, developing the Stirling's lather to the 'I love it' point requires sustaining a more intensive lathering effort for a longer period of time; a couple of vigorous minutes, at least, and requiring that I work the lather with the help of my non-brush hand to push lather out of the brush, then re-incorporate and re-work it with the lather on my face. It takes more effort to lather up the Stirling than it takes to lather up anything else from my rather modest current selection.

But, the effort produces a lather that is abundant, dense, extremely slick, and very protective; the Executive Man scent is fantastic, the shave is as close or closer than with anything else, and the post-shave feel is on par with (on some days, superior to) that of the CF cream. And the post-shave of the Stirling is better than that of everything else (including the post shave and closeness of the RR lanolin that I like so much, and which has a post shave that I found better than that of any of the other soaps, and than the post shave of all the creams except the CF).

From the Stirling, I get performance that equals or surpasses that of my two other favorites (the aforementioned CF and RR lanolin), with a scent that is different and extremely enjoyable, in exchange for a little more effort on the lathering. And, it's far less spendy than the CF cream.

Is the lathering effort an issue? Sure; on the couple days I've been running late over the past couple weeks, I've shaved with something else. On days I've had a little more time (or as much time as I wanted), I've used the Stirling every time. The Stirling is a flat-out fantastic shaving soap.

A final note about my experience with the Stirling shaving soap over the past couple of weeks: I found the Executive Man has lathered a little differently - I got a thicker lather, and faster - than the Stirling Gentleman. Maybe it has been coincidence, maybe from the slight variations across batches from the manufacturing process, maybe it's because the two pucks are in containers of different shapes and sizes. Regardless, the performance, closeness, and post-shave have been about the same from both scents, despite very minor (but noticeable) variation in the lathering behavior of the two.

Overall, I've found the Stirling shaving soap has quickly earned a spot at the top of my list of go-to favorites, and I hope to be purchasing more (and in additional scents) in the near future. This is a shaving product with top-notch performance, a wonderful scent, and a very affordable price. And, the company's customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this shaving soap.

    19. My New Favorite Stirling Shave Soap Scent

Stirling Executive Man is my new favorite Stirling scent (well 1A, Stirling Lime comes in at 1B).

As with all Stirling soaps that I have used, it is a top performer for lather thickness, protection, slickness and after shave face feel. Stirling soaps are on my very short list of favorites.

The scent, to me, is a clean, fresh fougere type scent. It's the best I can do since I am not good at detailed scent descriptions.

I would not hesitate to recommend you try this, or any, Stirling soap.

    20. Awesome shaving soap!

This shaving soap - Executive Man - is one of the best (and one of my favorites!) in my shaving den. I have a large collection of various shaving creams and soaps from makers all over the globe, and I think that my Stirling Soaps are without exception the least expensive of them all (in fact, several of them from England are about twice the cost!) and yet these Stirling Soaps consistently hold their own with those much pricier soaps re: load and latherability, smoothness and protection during the shave, and post-shave glide/slickness, not to mention the scent, which is a great masculine scent that I really love. This soap gives nothing away to any of those others, is made right here in the USA, and I look forward every time I reach in and pick Executive Man for the day's shave to the great experience and scent that I know I'm going to get - consistently excellent each and every time. Awesome shaving soap! Thanks guys for cranking out such great products that don't break the bank! on 3rd Apr 2017

Stirling Executive Man Shave... Had to do it...

I decided to give some love to my new favorite shaving soap. In one week, this stuff has become my go to shave... officially unseating my house favorite Sharp Dressed Man. Executive Man is inspired by Creeds Aventus ($350.00) while Sharp Dressed Man is inspired by Creed Green Irish Tweed ($350.00). This soap is excellent no doubt!
