We set out to create a fall scent and ended up with what may stay with us all year long. Step into the great outdoors and breathe in deeply. A blend of Cedarwood, Lavender, Bergamot, Balsam, Lichen, Musk, Black Pepper, Sage, and Cade. (Essential/Fragrance Oil Blend)
Look, if you're into that kind of smell then go for it, this one's for you. I didn't like the smell so I can't recommend it but it's still a good soap. Unknown on 25th Jun 2017
I purchased this scent along with five others. To me, it was my least favorite out of the bunch. That being said, I asked my fiance what her favorite was out of the same lot of soaps and she said this one smelt the best. I was hoping that the cedar would be the scent that overtakes, but it is frankly not noticeable. I gave this product a five-star rating because it still smells great & does what it was designed to do. I would describe it as a camping scent. John on 3rd May 2017
The cedar, lavendar, musk, and sage especially come together to give the image of a floral and woodsy utopia. It's a very relaxing, calming scent. My vote is a resounding yes for keeping it all year long. Rory on 26th Sep 2016
Next level stuff. Smokey, earthy, just like mountain biking on a crisp autumn day. Eric on 25th Apr 2016
The woody/musky scent of this scent is a new favorite. I hope it does stick around all year. Frank on 8th Dec 2015
I love this stuff. SDM is my go to Stirling scent. I would bathe in it if I could... and I can, so awesome. This stuff seems like Texas on Fire and SDM had a love child. It has that crisp, powdery cleanliness of SDM with a heavy smoke undertone that pumps up the muscle. It isn't nearly as smokey as TOF, but it is there. I really enjoy this scent and like it for this time of the year. It may be my cold weather go-to now! Unknown on 9th Nov 2015
This soap performs outstandingly. I have been using luxury bath soaps for years. I have dry skin, and the use of natural ingredient bath soaps with tallow or lanolin in my morning shower keeps my skin from getting itchy and dry throughout the day.
Gatlinburg's lather is quick and abundant. I use a poof to lather up, and Gatlinbug's suds performed as good as soaps I've used that cost well over twice as much as this bar. The scent is woody and mossy with balancing citrus and sage notes rounding out the bouquet. Gatlinburg is a name that may not be universally known, but as someone who lives only minutes from Gatlinburg, TN it lives up to it's name. Conjuring up a walk in the Great Smoky Mountains after a rain with the sun warming up your surroundings and bringing the clean woody smells to your nose completing your commune with nature. The name fits.
This soap has legs as well. I catch fresh whiffs of this soap throughout my workday. I feel clean and my skin maintains it's moisture for the entire day. I've had many compliments from coworkers and even strangers on planes! This is a grand soap and I'll be stocking up on it soon - however, the five and a half oz. bar is as long lasting as many triple-milled offerings that cost much more. I love this soap.
