Stirling soap is the best. I mostly prefer their fruit based scents as they are more natural and I don't like the perfumey/ cologne stuff. This is not really like that. Just a very clean, modern smelling soap type scent. Fresh. Great!

The soap works very well, even with the hard water in my area. The scent is pleasant, but a little too mild for me. I will certainly use the rest of the puck because it works so well, and I will certainly continue to use Stirling soaps for their performance. However, I will probably switch to a bolder scent from Stirling

I just got into shaving with an old school safety razor and shave soap earlier this year. None of the shave soaps I’d buy online seemed to work very well for me. I ordered the Baker Street shave soap on a whim and couldn’t be happier. The soap suds up into better quality shaving cream than you’d get in a can nowadays. Terrific stuff. I’m hooked!!

The scent is fantastic with a very clean and cologne scent. Not overpowering l, but just right. Liked it so much that ordered a full tub, splash, and the balm.

Performance is top notch too. Lathers quickly and gives an outstanding shave.

I recently finished a sample of this soap. The performance is an A+. The scent to me isn't bad but it doesn't give me that wow factor. I would prefer it over Arko (not saying Arko smells bad) but there are other Stirling scents that make me get a sniff every time I walk in the bathroom.

Stirling soaps just plain rock, no matter what scent or base you choose. Baker Street works in every season. Hot summer day? Perfect. Cool fall evening? Just as perfect. I have the soap, splash and EdT and get pretty much a full day of this great scent lingering on my skin. I have many favorites from Stirling that I will never be without, this is one of them.

I like it a lot and use it for spring and summer months. Good lather and the post shave feel is good. One of the better Stirling scents.

If I am being brutally honest, my first impression of the scent was laundry detergent; it's definitely akin to Arko stick shave soaps. The soap itself performs fantastically like one should expect from any Stirling product. Even though I'm not crazy about the scent, I will still use it because nothing else matches the quality of Stirling shave soaps.

My current favorite is Baker Street. I love that Leathery, woodsy scent it has. It reminds me of being in an old library with the intoxicating scent of leather bound books surrounding you. Also love Noble Man, Burgundy and Arkadia...The soap is rich, lathers well and gives you a very comfortable and enjoyable shave!

This scent is very juniper heavy, and I did not enjoy it. Soap performance is great as usual.

I enjoy this scent a lot. I have had my shave soap for a while now. what I get from this scent is like a Peppery Lemon meringue. it's very pleasant

Amazing scent! Juniper and bergamot up front and trailing behind, a sweet floral patchouli. The lubricity of stirling soaps is unmatched in any of their offerings and paired with a matching aftershave you can't go wrong!

The scent doesn't appeal to me, too juniper dominant. Aroma is subjective so no dings for that. I have just enough experience with shaving soaps and brushes to know they are not all the same. The first few times using this Stirling product seemed to produce varying results. That was mostly due to my experimentation. I was under the impression that more soap was needed, per bowl of lather, than other brands. I was dead wrong. I stumbled on the Stirling Soap Co youtube video on how to lather their shaving soaps. Following the directions straight from the soap maker's mouth, man, I am impressed! Now I think this tub of soap is going to be with me for a while. A small amount renders enough slick, glossy, tacky lather to shave my head and a three pass shave. This is a thirsty soap. Watch the video even if you are an old hand at wet shaving.

Decided to try Baker Street because I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes and this name grabbed my attention. After reading the scent profile, i was even more interested. This is one of the best soaps I have used. The scent is an absolutely amazing old style scent and produces a beautiful lather! A good shave always makes me feel relaxed and refreshed, but this was a great shave! Baker Street brought back memories of watching my Dad and Grandfather shave when I was really young. Thank you, Stirling Soap Co., for an amazing shave and bringing back wonderful memories.

I received the shaving soap in the Baker Street scent for Christmas and soon after ordered the bath soap, aftershave, beard oil, solid shampoo, and cologne. It smells clean, fresh, masculine, and I like the fact that I can wear multiple products in the same fragrance. My wife loves the scent and I've received a few compliments at work too. Will definitely be ordering everything again when I run low. Happy Customer :)

I'm somewhat new to DE safety shaving and therefore, haven't tried very many shaving soaps. However, out of the ones I have tried, Stirling's is the best. Wonderful scent and you can easily and quickly work up a rich, thick lather with very little effort. Baker Street has a pleasant, old fashion scent. These soaps are very reasonably priced. I've paid much more for lower quality shaving soaps. As long as you keep my favorite in stock, (when I pick a favorite), I'll not be looking to shop anywhere else.

I picked Baker Street up initially in a sample size, one of many. I kept coming back to it time and again. Baker Street has become a favorite of mine. It has a pleasing masculine scent that stays with me throughout my day. Excellent in every way!

I would agree with a previous review in that this has a powdery, masculine scent to it.

As with all Stirling Soaps, it performs well.
