Scent Description: A drive through the Ozark Mountains in fall is the best way to describe this scent. It is woodsy, spicy, and absolutely the closest fragrance we have found to replicating the aroma of the Ozarks.
Ingredients: Denatured Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Fragrance Oil, Aloe, Glycerin, Hydrovance.
Directions for Use: Shake a small amount into your hand. Rub hands together and apply directly to skin. Due to the presence of alcohol, a slight burning sensation will occur. This should fade quickly.

This aftershave splash delivers a warm, woodsy, spicy scent described as "Christmas in a bottle" with pine, balsam, and earthy notes. Customers praised its long-lasting fragrance and soothing properties, earning many compliments. Some found it too sweet or strong, noting it differs from the matching soap. Performance is excellent with great face feel.

Literally every single one of my kids (3 in total) said that to me when I asked them what they thought of this stuff. It's a very spicy, woodsy, kind of smell that absolutely gives a Christmas vibe. It's not just pine though on this one. It's more complicated, and deep. While I really enjoy the scent I'm not 100% sure I'd want to go out on a date or something smelling like this. To me this is more of a fun smell, and a novelty kind of deal. Not saying I wouldn't want to use it during other times of the year that aren't Christmas, but it's just more of a gimmicky kind of smell I guess? I know that almost sounds like I'm not in love with the scent, but that's not it. I honestly really do like this one, but it has more of a niche application.
Either way, I think this is another scent that Stirling absolutely hit out of the park, it's just something that may or may not be everyone's "thing" is all. Their description is dead on and is exactly what you should expect.
I have never been to the Ozark Mountains (I would love to someday!). However, I did grow up in the mountains of Arizona. This scent reminds of the gloomy, rainy Fall days where the pine forests were damp and fresh, and the weather is starting to turn cold. This scent has some sweet accents to it, but its also has some great earthy notes to it that I can't get away from.
Its also great in candle form if you're in to that sort of thing!
If you haven't tried this scent yet, definitely grab yourself a sample of any of the Ozark Mountain products!
I've gone through a full bottle of this aftershave, and I had to buy more. It's my wife's favorite Stirling Soap scent that I use. It's a warm, woodsy, crisp scent. The perfect way to end a nice shave or neckline touch-up. You feel ready for your day (or evening) when you put this on.
This aftershave splash goes great with its soap and compliments it well. Very soothing and it smells great.
I always get compliments when I wear this.
This my first aftershave from Stirling and boy oh boy did I luck out on my first try! I had been ordering on and off from Stirling for my shave soap for years but never tried any of their other products. I had no idea what I was missing! I'm always looking for something that is different, smells great and doesn't leave me flowery. If I want regular aftershave there is always the mainstream approach. Ozark mountain aftershave meets all of my criteria and then some! Great sillage and longevity without being overbearing. Dang good stuff, says my staff of nurses.
I've been excited to try this one for years, and have been waiting for an excise to jump in. Well, I did.
The initial scent is largely sprucy, and conjures distinct mental images of pulling the Christmas decorations out of the attic. Once that fades a bit, some of the other scents begin to show up. The effect is pretty nice after a while.
Bought this as a sample. smells a little like dryer sheets. Not one of my favorites.
I love the Ozark Mountain (OM) Shave Soap. I have been buying it for years. I also love Sharp Dressed Man (SDM). I thought the scent of both the aftershave splash and the balm for SDM was a great complement to the Shave Soap, so I figure it would be comparable for the OM versions.
However, the scent for OM in the splash and balm are much stronger and harsher than the shave soap. It seems to be cloying and big, and not as subtle nor complimentary to the shave Soap. In contrast, SDM is a perfect set, much more harmonious together.
Very piney outdoor smell, the glacial menthol option is awesome. Extreme cooling after a nice hot shower
I get many complements on this one! people would stop and ask me what i have on and say you smell really good. A friend of mine said it smells like a walk in the forest with balsam like scents mixed with rich spicy woodsy scents
Performance is on par with other Stirling aftershave splashes 5/5
The piney scent is nice 5/5
The sweetness is too much for me. Almost like a pine scented cotton candy. -1 star
Makes me smell rugged.
You just can't go wrong with Sterling products. The aftershave is great. It's a high quality splash for not much money and the scents are top shelf. Everything is always great, products, service all great. What can I cay? They're G-r-r-r-reat!
Like all Stirling aftershave splashes, this is an excellent companion to the same scent shave soap.
Fantastic scent to match the soap with the same name, great face feel and scent longevity.
This is the best scent ever in soap or splash period. If you want to smell like a alpha throw this on your face. This is the scent that Rambo would wear. It really does does smell like the Ozarks!
My wife says it smells like an catholic church, I'm not sure how to describe it myself but it is for sure makes me feel like i just left George Washington's war room.
This is easily my favorite scent from Stirling, something about it just makes me stop, relax, and venture off into a dreamscape of my boyhood adventures in the Ozark Mountains before slowly easing me back into the cool stream of reality. It seems that in their attempt to bottle the essences of the Ozarks Stirling seemed to have stumbled upon essence of a very exact locale from my memories, a small, unnamed shop, long since closed, run by an elderly woman simply known as "the basket lady." This old country store was a single room with a workshop in the back constructed of cedar floor boards, and the most beautifully aged Osage orange wood walls I have ever seen. It was filled to the brim with some of the most intricately hand woven baskets you would ever see, and the smell of sweet spices from an unknown source filled the room. It is this scent of the well worn in shop, I am sure of it, that Stirling has managed to reproduce here. The precisely crafted scent touches me right down to my very memories, and I dare say it even holds the power to create fanciful memories of a bygone era in those who previously never had such memories!
Smile and straightforward. I like that the scent does not immediately disappear
The aftershave itself is great! All the Stirling aftershaves are. The scent on this one is kinda like a christmas candle. If you like that scent, you'll love this.
Ooohh. That one. Nuff said.
I so love this stuff! It is my favorite aftershave in the world. It is so me! Reminds me of being a young lad, riding my motorcycle in the woods, while the firemen were burning fire lanes. Oh so sweet! If you like the outdoors you are going to love this! It keeps a little fire burning all day!! Not over powering, but a nice outdoor smell with a little fire! I know they didn't make it for me, but they made it for me!
love this scent
I purchased this as a gift for my brother in law along with the matching soap and bath soap, so I can only comment on the scent. It was exactly what I was looking for, a little woodsy with some spice, it may be a future purchase for Christmas time considering we don't get real Christmas trees due to allergies. My BIL really liked the scent as well but that's all I have heard about it. I will be trying a Stirling splash with my next order.
The cool, woodsy scene of the Ozark Mountain Aftershave is refreshing and lasts throughout the day. I am a police officer and recently had to deal with riots related to protesting. Why I mention this, is that after the longest day, 20 hours, I could still smell the refreshing scent of Ozark Mountain inside my gas mask.
I have yet to come across a Stirling Aftershave I don't like and Ozark Mountain is one of my favorites!
So hard to be loyal to any one Stirling product. They all are very good and I would like to try them all. This smells great. Much better than the drugstore stuff. The style bottle doesn't let you waste much. You pour out just what you want. It works really well too.
And the price like everything sold here is right.
I haven't tried a scent from Stirling I haven't liked, and I love the way they "burn" but dry very quickly. The "burn" is in no way uncomfortable either. A very nice feel after I apply the after shave. This scent is nice, and it can stick with you all day long depending on how much you use. To my nose, this smells somewhat similar to the Barbershop scent.
