A great scent,but not overpowering. The product performance is great and certainly great after a shave. Happy I got a sample of this. Greatly enjoy!

I read lots of positive reviews about this scent on forums and on Reddit. It's really perfect. It's not overpowering, but not weak. Just a perfect, slightly woodsy, natural feeling scent. Honestly one of my favorite of the 10 Stirling soap scents I've tried. If my husband smelled like this every day for the rest of his life that would be fine by me.

Bought to pair with Ozark shave soap since I get dry skin after shaving. The balm is thicker than most but an almost sized amount will literally cover my face, neck and shoulders. I have zero issues with it being greasy/sticky and it keeps my face comfortable all day. The scent is so good that I might buy the EDT to match because it fades after about 2 hours.

Bottom line is if you use the Ozark mountain shave soap you really need this balm.

Loved using this each time after shaving, it does feel good and smells great! Wish there's cologne of this as don't mind smelling like this all day!

This stuff is fantastic. It goes on very light, absorbs in seconds, and is very soothing.

As the case with all the other Stirling products I have purchased, i am 100% pleased.

This is undoubtedly one of the best scents Stirling has ever made I was a fan off the Green scent but that was discontinued and I find that Ozark is equally as enjoyable! Of course the quality is there as ask Stirling products are Great!

Very light lotion feel to it and its nice enough for everyday use.

One of my favorite scents from Stirling. Got this to go with the soap and aftershave. You don't need too much to have the smell stick with you for most of the day. Not too strong that it is in your face, but just enough to catch whiffs of it here and there.

The perfect compliment to the shave soap-- rub some on and the scent lasts most the day--very nice good for your skin , but not over powering at all. Great quality stuff !

First of all I am not typically a balm guy but wanted to find a good balm for winter. I typically prefer the "milky" type balms as I live in the south and don't need a thicker balm. This stuff really blew me away. First of all a splash or balm is not needed after using Stirling soaps because they are that good! But if needed this balm is amazing and absorbs quite fast and is not greasy unless over applied. I use a very small amount (2 peas?) and it works great. The scent is amazing and will be buying the splash ASAP.

This is a wonderful balm, very soothing and moisturizing, as are all the Stirling balms. The scent is wonderful, very woodsy and spicy, just like being in the mountains. Not overpowering but last quite awhile. Will purchase the aftershave splash next.

Still my favorite balm! The scent is the best from stirling in my own opinion. Great consistency! (ymmv)(I think of it like a lotion that will nourish my skin ^^ )
Still if you don't like it, try using while your skin is wet. It will absorb faster!
I love that they use witch hazel in the formula too, great stuff!

My favorite post shave ever. I use the Ozark shave cream and finish off with Ozark post shave. Leaves my face nice and smooth.

I have about 5 Sterling soaps along with 50 other brands. I have found sterling soaps to be as good in lathering, cushion and slickness as any top level soap on the market. As far as Ozark Mountain it was a guess at first for this soap, and was I delighted that the description was accurate the scent refreshing.

So I tried the aftershave balm and was delighted in it's soothing qualities and pleasant scent that wasn't over powering but left my face and neck feeling refreshed.

I absolutely love this scent. I am pleased with this after shave balm as well. The scent is exactly like my Ozark Mountain shave soap which is awesome. I'm not really sure how to describe it but it is a very pleasing smell.
I usually use a Nivia After shave balm which is a much thinner mixture so this took a little getting used to, but it's great.

It takes some time to absorb, but not much! and it really nourishes the skin and helps reduce the razor burn! However it had a sweeter scent than the shaving soap version, which for me was a downside. but maybe it was just this batch in specific.

This might be the best woodsy scented shaving product I have used. It really delivers a big punch and pairs well with any wood scented soap. No noticeable razor burn after using this balm most of the time. Really a superb balm.

Your post shave balms work VERY well. I have recently started shaving my head, so I have been giving myself some razor burn and minor nicks. I also tend to let my blades get a bit too dull. Fortunately I only have to deal with it for a few minutes as this post shave balm teats razor burn extremely well. You can feel it work almost instantly.

I love the Ozark shaving puck so I gave this a shot. it is a very strong sent, crazy strong. Strong enough to give Yankee Candle a run for their money.it does smell great but I build in an hour to air out and make it more manageable.

This is a great balm, with a scent that I keep going back to. Very happy with this. I wish I could have tried this in the aftershave splash, but could not for shipping reasons being out of the country.

this balm is very thick but not greasy. Also not overly thick if applied on wet skin (will help absorb fully, and faster). If paired with the matching shave saop the scent is sronger and will last much longer as well! This is my Favorite scent from Stirling and my take on it is in the review section of the shave soap. Paired with their shave soap this balm makes my skin ver soft. I even use it as a hand lotion sometimes in the winter months.

The description for this scent is right on. It smells like you had one too many egg nogs at family Christmas and decided to wrestle the live tree. The balm is an awesome product. At first it feels too slick like you might have to wipe it off. Just keep rubbing it in on your face and on your arms and around so you can catch that cashiers eye at the Home Depot with your flannel shirt and piney musky scent of a man.
