Doesn’t smell remotely close how the notes described it, also doesn’t lather how I expected it to

Got this as the first ever tallow soap for my wife. She loves it. I hit a homer as she is a die hard Tudors/Victorian/Edwardian afficionado and loves all things of those eras. The food, the clothing, the etiquette, Jane Austen, etc. She said this smell seems to come directly from those periods - like an old fashioned perfume. We'll be keeping this one.

Such a well balanced scent. I was sent a sample of this scent with my order (thank you Stirling!), it was actually the bath bar soap. I absolutely loved it. After using it a couple of times, I knew I had to order a tub of the shave soap. It's a nice soft scent, right when its about to be floral (which I am never a big fan of floral) a nice sweetness kicks in and balances it out perfectly. If you are looking for a nice mellow/relaxing scent buy this, you won't regret it. Great slickness and performance both on the bar and shave soap. I also bought the bar soaps recently as Christmas gifts for family.

It's a delicious and intoxicating scent. More on the feminine side should that be important to you, but it's absolutely suitable for anyone. The soap itself also performs great.

I love this scent so much I bought a shampoo bar. If I had not used Stirling Sheep soaps I would give it 5 stars but sheep is better in my estimation, lather better, faster, is it slicker or better finish? Leave that judgement to others, beef or mutton? What is the BEEF with SHEEP? Lack of scent choices, if that matters just work the brush an extra minute. Scent is 5 star!

Could very well be called King of Hearts as this is just fine for men. Wonderful scent. Well done Stirling!

Just got my wife into wet shaving about 6 moths ago. She has used a single brand of vegetable based soap since. We decided to try Stirling Soaps and a few other products. Package came yesterday and we used them today. After the first pass of the razor she screams from the bathroom - "Babe, this is my new favorite!" Then she used the body butter after. Surprise!!! Exact same comment! Looks like we have a new favorite product. Now, which scents to try next???

LOVE this scent and so happy about this Blind Buy. Typical quality in the soap base. The scent is strong enough to enjoy without being overdone. I hope they come out with a splash and EdT to match !!
