Kenya is well-known for producing great coffees and this harvest is no exception. Grown at a high altitude, the beans are dense and take to high heat roasting very well. We roasted this coffee as a dark espresso roast and drew out the middle of the roast to pull out the sugars slowly which pushes the acidity to the back. It is a heavy mouthfeel but it's smooth too which makes it great for lattes or a straight espresso shot.
