Great product and lathers great. Hair is squeaky clean. Note: Don’t get suds in your eyes. Not a great experience but product makes it worth the risk of eyes smarting sometime. Highly recommend and use with eyes closed.

Barbershop has become one of my go to scent profiles. It reminds me of being taken to the Barbershop by my Dad and what we both would smell like after our haircuts. As with all Stirling Soap products the lather is amazing even with our hard water.

As with all the bars the soap is great, this one pleasantly invokes the aroma of a barber shop as intended.

I love the shampoo bars, but every one that I used broke into small pieces before I could use the entire product. This was extremely frustrating.

After 50+ years of bottled shampoo I figured I'd try something different. I like Stirling's shave soaps, aftershaves and beard balms so I thought why not. I am a convert. This stuff has the same great smells you know and love, and my hair feels cleaner and just better. Well done Stirling once again.

Generic Stirling Shampoo Review:
Stirling shampoo bars are awesome. They are very sudsy and feel incredibly clean (but not drying) on your hair. The scents come through very well as do any gimmick features.

Particular Soap Details:
This is a very "normal" scent, "classic" even, and the effect comes through pretty well in the bar. It is soft and calming and altogether the very opposite of overwhelming. I really enjoyed this one.

I switched to this bar after using fairly cheap shampoo and conditioner for a long time. I usually have dandruff and my head always felt dry and itchy. After only ONE use of this bar, my hair is completely dandruff-free, looks and feels much healthier. I didn't even need to use conditioner. The lather is also really great.

My hair smells seriously good and the scent isn't overpowering, yet lasts all day. Honestly, this is the perfect shampoo solution and I don't see myself switch back to store-bought any time soon, even the "nice" stuff. Seriously pleased!!

I was first interested in bar shampoo because I wanted to stop using plastic bottles in the shower. I couldn't find a conditioner bar for sale anywhere, but here's the thing: I haven't needed to use conditioner since I started using this! I have short hair, granted, but I think this isn't stripping out the oils the way that chemical shampoos do, so there's no need for it. The smell is a personal preference -- this one basically smells like baby powder. I've already purchased my next bar, trying another fragrance after this one is used up. But it's a fantastic way to clean your hair, leaves it feeling great, and I think the bar will last a long time. One small suggestion is that Stirling could experiment with some kind of wax paper packaging instead of plastic wrap. That would allow me to bring my shower's plastic consumption down to zero, while using great Stirling products.

It smells like talcum powder to me. I can't recall which talcum powder brand. However, I do enjoy the smell.

If the golden sound of Frank Sinatra backed by Tommy Dorsey's orchestra could be alchemied into a shampoo bar, it would smell and feel like this. It's like my hair finally came to life when I started using it. No more greasy fire hazard, virtually no split ends, just a softness and body that's not over the top, but somehow just feels right.

For those who are new to shampoo bars, it's not like shave or bath soap--if you load it like you hate it, you're in for a bad day. In fact, you need a light touch. If your hair's getting dragged around, you're pressing waaay too hard. Just light swirls around your hair, so light it almost feels like a woman's running her fingers through it, that's what you want. Might take a little longer to load enough in, but all you need is juuuuust enough to build a thin lather. No more, no less. Sounds counter-intuitive, but trust me, that bar will last months, saving you a ton of money, and your hair will thank you.

I got this a sample with my latest order. The smell is a clean soap/talc and other barber shop smells that are nice but hard to describe. I lathered the soap in my hands and a nice lather quickly formed. Nice cleansing with no harshness. The smell is so good I was expecting to see a barber pole in my shower when I finished using.

As with all Stirling products, it's great. Very nice barbershop smell but not overpowering, stays with you all day. I just received my second bar today. I really like stirling products and haven't found anything i dont like.
This may sound stupid to some but when you receive your package, take note of the personalized receipt. Customer appreciation is rare these days. Stirling is awesome!

What a great Idea...love classic barbershop scents.. still take my 9 year old to bond Dad time. scent takes me back every time I wash.

This is the first time I have ever tried a shampoo bar, so I bought this mainly out of curiosity. Man, I'm glad I did. The barbershop scent smells so great that it's addictive. The quality of this shampoo bar is fantastic too. If you decide to buy this, you won't be disappointed.

This soap did not cause me any issues. It has a nice smell, but it does not last at all. I wish it did, it smells good.

Used the shampoo bar a couple times and found the performance and lather to be great. Hair felt clean, washed out easily, but the scent was very powdery and overpowering. Not my favorite but will definitely be trying different bars. Customer service and support is outstanding.

This was my first purchase with Stirling. What can I say, this shampoo bar and the scent is awesome. My wife loves it as well. I can go 2 days with the scent and softness in my hair. Thank you guys!
