I’ve been using Stirling’s pre-shave oils for years. I’ve also tried many other oils, most claiming to be the best - with prices to prove it LOL. But nothing compares to the quality and consistency of Stirling’s oil. They have the perfect consistency, not watery or too thick, but just right for a thin slick application every time. It cuts down on nicks and leaves my skin (face and elsewhere) feeling smooth and smelling nice. I’ve tried most of the available scents over the years and only wish they would release oils with scents like Witchy Woman and other less masculine varieties. Not every man wants to smell super-masculine every day of his life. It would be nice to be able to occasionally pamper the feminine side within all of us with more pretty-smelling pre-shave oils. I’m sure I’m not alone in this!

Pre-shave oils cause a lot of slick controversy. Some shavers swear by them and some don't see the need at all. If you are an oil type of guy, Stirling is the brand for you. It smells great and adds a protective coating, and it is one of the best-priced oils: $11.95 for 3 ozs. You could pay $25 for 2 ozs of pre-shave oil at AOS, but, for me, I much prefer this non-gloppy formula.
