Man I love this splash. The initial feel is smooth and smells great and the the Ice starts creeping up.

I really can't praise this tonic enough, it makes your skin feel so good after a shave, the scent is very nice too if you like black licorice, and is a decently strong scent so you'll smell it for an hour or 2. If your skin is too sensitive for an alcohol splash but you also think balms are too thick and oily, then this is the perfect middle ground, you'll absolutely love these tonics.

I love this product! It leaves my skin feeling great. The "Black Ice" is no joke, this product definitely has a cooling sensation. If you are new to it you may want to ease your way into using it. It should be noted that some people are allergic to witch hazel so you may want to verify that by purchasing the sample size first (mind you even purchasing a 100ml bottle is such great value that it would be a big deal if you discovered you were allergic after purchasing).

With the use of this product along with switching to traditional shaving (brush and safety razor) gone are the days of skin irritation, in-grown hairs, etc. This is a staple in my shaving routine!

Very nice scent with just the right amount of menthol.

Stirling's has yet to let me down, so much so that I've taken to ordering things I -- DONT -- Like, just to see how good they can make it. Well, I dislike Black Licorice. But it sounded like something I had to try.

Was not disappointed: The smell is actually pretty good, especially considering my distaste for it. It moisturizes the skin well, and does a great job of soothing after a close shave if you've happened to explore a new Razor, blade, or just had a bad shave day.

The MENTHOL: WHOOOOO, I expected a kick, but didn't see that coming. It was so cold it burned, but at the same time it felt great. It's very hard to explain, but I now see how people get addicted to Menthol. Gave it to a buddy to try, he said the same exact thing. It burned good, and he loved it.

If you like licorice, or anise if you must, this pairs very well with the Black Ice soap and leaves your face feeling great. I normally prefer a witch hazel/aloe followed by an alcohol containing alcohol, but if you use this, I think only the one step is necessary. But if you need some burn, and want to follow the soap with alcohol, try the Glacial Obsidian aftershave, that's a heavy hitter.

This great splash moisturizes the face extremely well. It closes the pores like a champ and makes the skin glow. The scent of black Liquorice is a sweet and nice finish to angry shave. Your face is sure to feel more Awesomer after any shave! Buy it and your face will thank you! P.S. I upgraded mine to Glacial level menthol and double strength anise. Now is an all day lasting scent!
