This puck is a great blend of coniferous notes. Resinous, balsamic, and pine needles with a generous amount of spruce buried in the mid. It has a sweetness that makes it easy to shave with. Artisans often botch this scent pyramid - resulting in a lather that smells like pine-sol. Not this puck! The best arboreal forest soap in the biz. And the base and lather are TOP shelf.

Dish, shave soap smells like Christmas trees and if you like Christmas trees like pine, you will definitely definitely love this and it’s not too strong. It’s very comforting and it smells good. I had recommended.

This is one of my favorite scents, and always makes a great lather, I don't believe the quality of Stirling products can be beat! Excellent.

I've got something like 18 Stirling shave soaps and I have noticed a pattern: I prefer the ones that are based on nature rather than the ones based on colognes/aftershaves, etc.
And one of the really cool things Rod and Mandy do is include a free sample with orders and a while back I got a nice little sliver of Evergreen Forest. As soon as I opened the package, I knew I'd love it. And I did. So after a few months, I just had to order a refill size puck. This scent is intoxicating. It's like I'm transported into a dense forest. And in typical Stirling Soap fashion, it lathers beautifully and provides terrific cushion. My favorite Stirling scents are Barbershop, Bay Rum, Hot Apples Cider, Coniferous and now Evergreen Forest. It's one of those scents I can't conceive anyone not liking.

Smells like an Evergreen tree and I can't get enough of it. Bought the sample but will definitely be buying the full size set of this. Smell like a tree that the lady's will want to climb!

Because Rod & Mindy and company run the coolest business around and often include little free samples of things, I got to try this Evergreen Forest and I immediately fell in love with it. I'll be ordering more when my sample runs out. It's so fresh-smelling, it's wonderful.

Smells stronger than my Christmas tree did. Great lather and the scent lasts so much longer than other soaps I’ve tried. I’m a Stirling Soaps convert.

Yep. Evergreen tree. As advertised. You might be able to pull this one off as a seasonal Christmas scent as the spousal unit said it is a dead ringer for a Yankee Candle pine/Christmas/wreath scent but not as overbearing or cloying. If you need to smell like a pine tree, then this is the one. A more natural representation of that smell than a "chemical" dupe. Bring on December. Performance and value you expect from Stirling. Good stuff. 5 stars.

It is pure evergreen smell. Like clean fir / evergreen and nothing else. It's fresh and great.

I have to completely agree with what Evan said. The soap and splash smell exactly like a Douglas fir. I live in Western Oregon and know the smell very well. I was skeptical when I first ordered it, but Stirling
has nailed it once again! It's amazing!

I purchased the shave soap and the aftersplash. The closest I can describe the smell is sniffing a Douglas fir bough. I wouldn't say it smells like the forest as a whole, but more like the tree itself. Very pleasant scent and not overpowering.

I purchased this and the coniferous scent. I prefer this. Coniferous smells more like pine, and is a significantly stronger scent.
