**Boar hair is very fragile when dry and not broken in. As such, we don't comb out the loose hairs from the knots like we do with the badgers and synthetics. The boar brush will lose a few loose bristles each use for the first couple of weeks. It will stop or significantly slow down as the brush breaks in. Also, boar brushes do have a break in period and a mild animalic scent which will fade with use.
