Piney, a little Smokey/pepper of a smell. It's a mellower version of Ben Franklin. I went back to this one and I like it more now than when I first smelled it. The dry down on this aftershave just smells wonderful as it mellows out just a bit and the scent last all day even after washing hands.

It is impressive that anyone could actually create such a unique scent however nasty it may be.
It distinctly smells like my butt after chopping wood and sitting by the campfire all night.

THIS MAKES ME WANT TO PUT ON A LEATHER DUSTER, LIGHT UP A CIGAR AND TAKE A STROLL DOWN A DIRT ROAD. IT ACTUALLY SMELLS LIKE GIN STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOTTLE. GOOD STUFF

Leather and smoke hit you in the face like you walked into a 1950's gentleman's club with a follow up scent of a strip club in Thailand. I haven't smoked in 19 years and this reminded me why. This is the first scent from Stirling that I was turned off by. I had to wash my face and toss another aftershave on top. I only ordered the sample, so no real loss and my wife liked it enough to keep the rest of the little bottle, which is why it even received a 2nd star. Thankfully, I ordered 11 other Stirling AS samples and all are worthy of purchase.

This one immediately reminded me of D.R. Harris Marlborough, but without the ashtray smell. More of a smoke tobacco background.

Unfortunately, like the Sandalwood ... it burned like heck for me. I had a very nice smooth shave without irritation, so I know it wasn’t burning from a poor shave.

Just as well, as this kind of scent isn’t doing it all for the Mrs. nor myself. But if you like a tobacco scent, I think it’s worth a try.

Never been to Gatlinburg but this scent holds it own like "Texas On Fire", which is one of my favorite Shaving soaps by SSC. The variety of Fragrances and Essential Oils complied have given this soap a spot of its own on Originality. I have 25-30 different Shaving soaps and this one stands out as a true favorite. Of course performance and quality of the shaving soap and Aftershave are pared nicely and you cannot have one without the other, so PRAVO SSC, another HIT on a line of amazing products...

It's woody and smoky with what smells like musk in the background. All I can say is it's an awesome scent that I've never smelled anywhere else. It's very masculine and unique. Don't think about it. Just buy it! You'll love it!

I love Texas on Fire. I love Autumn Glory. I tried Gatlinburg and its like the best of both worlds. Gatlinburg has the crisp fall scent of fallen leaves and that brisk fall air in the woods. Now also mix in a bit of cedar wood and a slight smoky touch. Its amazing. I own 13 of their aftershaves and so far Gatlinburg, Ozark mountain, Ben Franklin, and Coniferous are my favorites. Just amazing. Picking what i want to wear has become a major decision of my day. What an amazing aftershave.

Stirling makes great AS products. The healing properties are amazing. The scent is outstanding. The top is very spicy, smoky, and woody. The middle is cedarwood and lavender. While the base is musk.

This definitely is top shelf aftershave. Gatlinburg has a woodsy, smokey and leather smell that will last and besides the wife likes it. Buy it for you and the wife will love it. I also find with the ingredients that it makes an excellent hair tonic. All in all, the smells of England, Europe, Asia and Russia cannot top the quality and smell of this great aftershave from Stirling. Another great smell to try is Texas on Fire in aftershave or witch hazel and aloe. Made for the working man, but good enough for the King of England. Need I say more?

Amazing! Strong smoky scent to begin with that settles into something woodsy. Lasts several hours - one of the strongest staying power ASLs I ever used.
If you like smoky/leather/woodsy scent - go for Gaitlinburg

Arguably the most unique (in a great way) scent I own and I am quite a collector of aftershave scents. The perfect late fall and winter scent; no way to describe it. Do yourself a favor and at least order a sample of it to try out. Wonderful and performs well just as all of these products do

This is a wonderful scent. It leaves your face feeling great like all Stirling products. The smell is complex and I don't know how to describe it. It is unique. It dries down to a clean fresh scent. Definitely worth purchasing. I'm going to get the balm next.

Wow! This stuff is awesome! I bought the soap, aftershave, and balm. Like all Stirling Aftershaves it was fantastic. The Scent reminds me of the Arts and Crafts area of Gatlinburg in the fall. Walking in and out of the shops and smelling the wood and wet leaves outside. This is my new favorite scent! Thank you Stirling!

There's a wonderful complexity in this scent that finishes with a brilliant simplicity. This fragrance is one of a kind, and perhaps a new favorite of mine that will compete with Ozark Mountain for years to come.

It's crisp and smokey opening notes give way to a sweet and clean finish. It's simply fantastic.
