The soap itself gives an amazing clean but the scent smells like a cheap floral concoction that is reminiciant of a Dollar Store cologne! Keep shopping tho these guys have exquisite soap, smell and function!!! Duke is a good starting point.

As someone who lives only 1 hour from Gatlinburg, this smells excellent!

Every time I receive an order, you send me a sample of something else. Last time it was a sample of Gatlinburg Soap. I could not wait to order a bar. So I ordered 3... One Gatlinburg for me and 2 Almost Heaven for my wife. I also gave your shaving soap to both of my son-in -laws and nephews for Christmas. I normally use their Pig Trail soap, but was looking for something just a bit different for Fall. This is along the same lines as Pig Trail, but with a smokeyness that is fitting for the season. Skin feels great after using all Stirling bath soaps.

As with the shave soap which I ordered at the same time. My first thoughts went to taking a vintage quilt from a cedar hope chest. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of scent in this soap and glad it wasn't too green of a cedar smell. It seems to smell better everytime I use it. The bar soap also leaves a lingering scent that is very subtle for most of the morning. Very nice soap Thanks Rod and Mandy

I know THAT movie was supposed to be in the Rockies but this soap is all mountain, all the way. No way to describe it other than real outdoorsy. Some folks might not like it. It is a strong in your face scent, after it calms down though, it turns into something muted and subtle. It just makes you feel good.

This is a great soap at a great price.

Look, if you're into that kind of smell then go for it, this one's for you. I didn't like the smell so I can't recommend it but it's still a good soap.

I purchased this scent along with five others. To me, it was my least favorite out of the bunch. That being said, I asked my fiance what her favorite was out of the same lot of soaps and she said this one smelt the best. I was hoping that the cedar would be the scent that overtakes, but it is frankly not noticeable. I gave this product a five-star rating because it still smells great & does what it was designed to do. I would describe it as a camping scent.

The cedar, lavendar, musk, and sage especially come together to give the image of a floral and woodsy utopia. It's a very relaxing, calming scent. My vote is a resounding yes for keeping it all year long.

Next level stuff. Smokey, earthy, just like mountain biking on a crisp autumn day.

The woody/musky scent of this scent is a new favorite. I hope it does stick around all year.

I love this stuff. SDM is my go to Stirling scent. I would bathe in it if I could... and I can, so awesome. This stuff seems like Texas on Fire and SDM had a love child. It has that crisp, powdery cleanliness of SDM with a heavy smoke undertone that pumps up the muscle. It isn't nearly as smokey as TOF, but it is there. I really enjoy this scent and like it for this time of the year. It may be my cold weather go-to now!

This soap performs outstandingly. I have been using luxury bath soaps for years. I have dry skin, and the use of natural ingredient bath soaps with tallow or lanolin in my morning shower keeps my skin from getting itchy and dry throughout the day.

Gatlinburg's lather is quick and abundant. I use a poof to lather up, and Gatlinbug's suds performed as good as soaps I've used that cost well over twice as much as this bar. The scent is woody and mossy with balancing citrus and sage notes rounding out the bouquet. Gatlinburg is a name that may not be universally known, but as someone who lives only minutes from Gatlinburg, TN it lives up to it's name. Conjuring up a walk in the Great Smoky Mountains after a rain with the sun warming up your surroundings and bringing the clean woody smells to your nose completing your commune with nature. The name fits.

This soap has legs as well. I catch fresh whiffs of this soap throughout my workday. I feel clean and my skin maintains it's moisture for the entire day. I've had many compliments from coworkers and even strangers on planes! This is a grand soap and I'll be stocking up on it soon - however, the five and a half oz. bar is as long lasting as many triple-milled offerings that cost much more. I love this soap.
