I am truly enamored with this balm. I love this scent, it reminds me of a musky lapsang souchong tea and the smokiness makes it really unique. More significantly, though, the way the balm feels absolutely cannot be beat. I don't know how they did it, I didn't even know my face could feel this way. The scent also lasts a while after I'm done shaving, which is a big confidence-booster. This was my first purchase from sterling (also got a sampler of shaving soaps) and they got me good. Honestly after trying the balm, I am a forever customer.

I have tried all the major wet shaving brands over the years. Britain, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the US. This beats them all in terms of performance AND doesn't have nasty chemicals like parabens and EDTA. Previously I was forced to use aftershaves with stuff like that just because I could not find anything sufficiently soothing without it (I have very sensitive skin). Stirling has changed that for me. Amazingly enough, it's also cheap. Gatlinburg is a nice winter scent. Woodsy and subtle. I could not be happier with this and plan to buy other scents.

It works well and a little goes a long way so take it easy. It would have gotten 5 stars but for some reason the big 4 oz container I ordered doesn't smell the same as the foil Gatlinburg sampler they sent me (which was the reason I ordered the 4 oz bottle). Maybe they changed the recipe?

Currently, this is my favorite scent produced by Stirling. The cedar, bergamot, and musk stand out most for me. It's an excellent rendition of fall in Minnesota.

Wow! This stuff is awesome! I bought the soap, aftershave, and balm. Like all Stirling Balms it was fantastic. The Scent reminds me of the Arts and Crafts area of Gatlinburg in the fall. Walking in and out of the shops and smelling the wood and wet leaves outside. This is my new favorite scent! Thank you Stirling!
