This one has a kick, for sure. It will open up the sinuses and cool down your skin. You'll step out of the shower feeling chilled. Great Summer bar, but was a little too chilling in Winter for my taste.

great for hot summer days

All Stirling products seem to be great and this soap is no different. I’m still not quite sure about the menthol but overall the soap cleans very well and I don’t get dried out like I do with most soaps. The menthol, it’s an acquired sensation I believe, you can really feel the chill on certain parts of the body (you know what I mean). I would buy again but first I need to try so many other Stirling soaps.

I think that the menthol is as well-balanced as it can be, but this soap probably isn't for me. I only feel a mild chill on most of my body, barring certain sensitive areas like my face, which get a more intense effect.

The scent is very clean. Definitely eucalyptus-heavy in a way that gives me a bit of nostalgia for Vicks VapoRub.

The pumice wasn't as scratchy as I was expecting, but I'd definitely recommend against trying to use this bar to wash your face after shaving.

All in all, I don't think I'll be ordering this again, but I can see why some people like it.

As someone else pointed out in there review (in so many words), this soap will cool you down. I deal with hot flashes, not to mention my brother has had the heat on 70 or 72 degrees, despite it being in the 60's. This soap really cools me down. I just placed another order for some of the other soaps/lotions/body butters that provide a cooling sensation and am looking forward to trying them.

Now I am a bigger guy because I like my food and I get hot pretty easy. This is not made any better by the fact that I work road construction. Now the problem that comes up is the feeling of still feeling very very hot and sweating even after a shower.

I got 10 bars knowing I would use this product because I had already used a menthol face soap that stirling makes. Now today was a 73 degree day and I was a little soaked. This soap took the heat out of me and gave me chills as I dried off. These chills were something else, like being outside in 5 degree weather with shorts and a t shirt. If you work outside and want to be able to get out of the shower with out feeling like you need another shower after then buy this soap.

I am loving this soap! I had ordered menthol soaps in the past, but this has been my favorite so far. Congratulations on making a great smelling, great exfoliating soap!

I'm not one to pay $5+ a bar for soap, but I needed to get my quota for the free shipping, so I bought 3. This is my first one to try and as I shave in the shower and then wash, this was super invigorating on my skin, especially the sensitive areas. My main concern was that it wouldn't lather well, but it easily beat my Irish Spring in lathering in a washcloth. Very satisfied with it, but I'm not sure I'll be forking out the dough for more bars, as they are very expensive, about 8X the price of commercial bath soap.

My wife LOVES LOVES LOVES this soap. Not for her though, it’s a bit rough on her sensitive skin but great for me. She says it leaves our bathroom MINTY FRESH and she keeps following me around trying to smell me. Gotta get more for sure!

To preface, I’m obsessed with all things peppermint scented and this is no exception. It smells awesome, makes my skin tingly, and is exfoliating! I’m definitely going to repurchase after I’m done with my current bar. I have bacne and this has helped clear it up!

This is I the first of 3 bath soaps I recently ordered. I use these soaps just for hand-washing. I may end up stocking up on Mentha-Scrub for future summers. It's very refreshing, and pleasant smelling. Just having it at my sink allows for a wonderful cooling sensation to experience while shaving, brushing my teeth and taking my medications. Great job with this one, Stirling!

A lot of great reviews led me to buy a bar of this. Due to the crystal and pumice, I would compare it to washing your body with sand paper if you are washing directly with the bar against your skin. Maybe I got a bad batch around Christmas time. Dry, sensitive, and sunburned skin people should avoid or lather it up with a wash cloth.

I really love this stuff. The combination of the pomace and the menthol is really refreshing. The scent is powerful - I can actually smell it from my shower when I come home from work!

This a great hand soap. This the perfect amount of pumice in it to clean well without be harsh. Great refreshing smell. I also like to work up this soap's lather in my hands and leave this on my face before I shave. This add the effect of menthol sooth while I shave.

Is it the middle of summer? Have you been working and built up a layer of sweat and grime? Well this is the soap you want. The menthol takes a second to kick in, but once it does you're in for a great cooling sensation. The pumice in the soap gives it a grit that is sure to get off what ever it was you were rolling in too.

If you want to get clean, cooled down, and you enjoy peppermint, then you will love this soap!! I will definitely be getting more of this.

I Received A Sample Bar In My Last Order. The Scent Was Very Rich And Dence. It Was Very Invigorating To Me And My Skin. The Menthol Was A Little Over Whelming At Times But In A Good Way. I Got A Few Uses Out Of It Where I Got Teary Eyed (LOL). Skin Felt Good/Clean After Every Use. Great Job On Creating This Bar Soap.
