This Rwanda coffee is a microlot from a small coop in the western region of Rwanda. It is a washed bourbon with notes of amaretto and almond that has been roasted to a medium depth. Being a fairly dense bean, we roasted it with enough heat to get it going at the beginning but slow enough to bring out a lot of the natural sugars in the bean. Overall, it's a beautifully mellow and sweet cup of coffee.
