This is such a MAGNIFICENT soap - first of all it has the exact same gorgeous scent as the Shulton Old Spice which is sadly missed by so many guys like myself, the lather is a delight to work up, the slickness is perfect, and it’s so skin friendly. Leave it to Rod and Mandy to create such a treasure!

I have been wet shaving for 30 years.... Used the original OS as well as 20+ homage soaps and AFSs. This is the best, tip of the gap, pinnacle the apex product. Well priced, base is top tier, and scent is accurate. Not exactly the same, but maybe better. The AFS and satellite products that go with it can be used with confidence. I have a few shave items I build system redundancy with - and this is one. Try it.... the AFS pairs perfectly.

Smells great (like a classic, pre P&G Old Spice), lathers nicely, and offers a slick and smooth shave. Definitely high quality, especially for the price.

Such a great scent. Whether you’re a fan of the inspiration or turn your nose up this can still be an easy reach for anyone. Clean,powdery with a little warmth coming through makes this one of my top grabs. This is also one of the first darker soaps I’ve picked up & seeing the creamy-mocha-oatmeal - streaked lather also make it stand out. Don’t worry, it still whips up a nice frothy white like your used to, but seeing those natural off color oils just reinforces how great of a product this is. 10/10

Use this as preshave when I have 2 or 3 days whisker growth. Seem to work ok.
I have only used it twice. Need use a few more times before giving a five star rating.

I was looking for an older barber shop smell that matches that Old Spice or even the Avon Spicy scent and this is exactly what I hoped for. I'm looking forward to more uses of the soap!

Value. Hundreds of shaves. It is not P&G scent though it does have some familiarity. Smells like a clean powdery version, some notes are there. Lather is on line with Stirling. Best for bowl lather, I tried the soap a few different ways, hand lather, a face lather and even straight from the puck and it was not as good as the bowl.

This is a nice companion to Old Spice cologne and aftershave. Great Stirling quality.

If your old man taught you how to shave with soap out of a white mug adorned with a ship and then had you smack your own face with (what felt like at the time) liquid hot magma out of a bouy-shaped bottle, then this scent is for you. It's also wife-approved and office friendly.
Stirling's soap is top notch. The tallow (which is missing from many mass produced soaps) is one of the best conditioners on the planet and leaves the skin soft whilst helping the razor glide effortlessly. This soap is thirsty. But it lathers up quickly and very well.

Of course the lather is fantastic as all of the Stirling Shave soaps, but the scent of the Stirling Spice is spot on for the original Old Spice. My Dad and my older brother both used Old Spice in the 1960’s and this is exactly as I remember the scent being. I will keep this in the top of my shaving rotation always.

I started wet shaving about 15 years ago, and since then, shaving has become almost a religious experience for me, especially when everything lines up. Like most of you, I have a cabinet filled with shave soaps for every mood and occasion. This soap instantly became my #1. No question. The shave itself provides perfect cushion and slickness, easily providing a BBS shave. The scent brought back so many memories for me, and it lingered perfectly - not too strong, and not dissipating too quickly. I paired it with the same AS, and the result was a very happy day. Buy this.

I’ve only used it a handful of times but I have noticed that the scent is not as strong as in some of the bath soaps. Overall a very good shave soap though!

This is very close to the original as I can remember, lovely scent that blossoms when lathered up. The soaps performance is excellent as usual an feels nice and cool against the skin. This will be placed in the regular rotation and replace some others already in the rotation. Try a sample.

Exceptional shaving soap! This one has a very nice soft fragrance. The soap has great lasting and lubricating properties. Will be the only soap I use from here out.

My first shave finished with a splash of Shulton Old Spice. This soap comes the closest to that original fragrance that I have found. I have tried a few others that come close, but didn’t quite make it. Thanks Stirling, for keeping my memories alive. Of course, all of Stirling soaps have the best shave formula for a great close shave.

This soap is amazing I'm very glad I bought a refill puck to replace my frozen tundra soap that I am out of this particular soap smells extremely identical to Old Spice and as I said is perfect for baseball season or any season in general if you like anything that smells like Old Spice

This is a very good shave soap. Although the description says it smells like old spice, it does not smell like old spice. The smell is very nice but not old spice.

Like all of the Stirling shave soaps that I have it lathers and lubricates well, providing a smooth comfortable shave. I also like the scent which in my opinion is very close to, if not right on Old Spice.

To my nose it smells just like “old” old spice you can find in the ceramic bottles before they were bought out. I’m not sure if the bottles I have are musty or if that’s how it smelled back in the day but the soap really captures that scent. And it shaves / lathered great! If you like old spice scent I’d recommend it.
