I originally bought this as my cheap travel brush, but it's become my go-to for every day. I've used it daily for the last couple of years, and if it holds up--and I think it will, as it hasn't lost a single hair--it's likely to be the last brush I will ever need. It generates tons of lather and has good "backbone" while still being gentle on my skin when face lathering. It feels better in the hand and on the face than a brush I have from a famous competitor that cost me five times as much.

I got this as I haven't tried a good synthetic brush and needed a smaller one for travel. I still prefer my boar brush for its backbone, but this brush is still amazing. Loads and lathers perfectly.

I got this for my dopp kit, nice little brush. It's not as comfortable in the hand as your larger synthetic brushes, but it's the perfect size for a travel brush. Plenty of backbone and very soft, couldn't ask for more!

I find this brush to be extremely convenient for travel. It fits perfectly in my doo bag.

I’ve been using this brush for about six weeks now - it produces a rich smooth bowl of shave cream quickly and thickly. What I like particularly is that the ‘hair’ ends don’t prick me like my previous synthetic brush does.

At least for me. This Lil diameter brush whips up a mean lather and paints it across my face! It's a little powerhouse. Who says size matters?

Just got this brush and fell in love with it during the very first use. Perfect size for guys like me who wear a full beard but like to keep the neck/cheek lines cleaned up, and don't want a brush so big that it paints lather all the way down past your collarbone. This one will definitely be my new daily driver.

I've used badger, boar and now synthetic and I have to say that synthetic is, for me the way to go. I will never want or need to buy a high-end badger brush and plunk down a couple hundred when I can get an awesome shave with synthetic. The Li'l Brudder is perfect for me. It is small enough for travel yet the brush holds tons of lather even with it's 21mm X 51mm knot. I can easily get three passes with one loading of this brush.

Of course I use it with Stirling soaps which lather great with any brush.

If you don't currently own a synthetic brush or are in need of a travel brush on the cheap, this is the one to try! You won't be disappointed.

I bought this brush three years ago. I own 8 other shave brushes, and I can count on two hands the number of times I have used brushes other than this one in the past three years. Lathers super fast, great backbone and soft on the face. Cannot recommend this brush enough!!! Take my three years of almost exclusive use as testimony to how great this brush is!

I recently bought this brush due to it's size. I'm starting to like smaller brushes, and synthetic ones. Don't let the size fool you. This thing whips up a mean lather, and could even be used for a travel razor. I love it.

I was looking for a synthetic brush around this size, and it's perfect. It whips up some mean lather, and more than enough for a 3 shave pass.

This is an excellent brush for me to have. I find myself still working on some of my wet-shaving "skills", therefore having a brush of the best quality helps the most. It's the most comfortable of all my brushes. It's size made me wonder how it was going to be, but I don't find that an issue anymore, having shaved twice with it thus far. I'm very happy with the Lil Brudder.

Bought this brush for travel and I think it will work great for that. I happened to have an empty prescription medicine bottle that it fit perfectly into, it is nice and small. I used this brush for a couple of days at home just to see how it would face lather and it does well for its size. It won't replace my 26mm Stirling Pro synthetic brush that I face lather with, but nothing will. All in all a great purchase.

This may be a little brush, but it performs like a champ. Very comfortable in the hand and easI'll builds a great lather.

Bought this as a travel brush as I needed one that I didn't have to worry about taking too long to dry. This brush is super soft on the face but has plenty of resistance (or backbone) to easily work up a great lather. It's the least expensive brush I own but currently my favorite. Dries quick too!

As a 50 plus year wet shaver, this brush and its big brother are the best brushes I believe you can buy for the price. Performance is outstanding, care and feeding requirements are minimal and it is compact enough to serve as a travel brush.

Bought the 26mm version and this one (22mm) at the same time (received them beginning of Oct 2016).

While both are excellent brushes -- well worth the money, in fact I believe they deserve to be priced higher -- the 22mm version is a gem of a shaving brush, especially if you are a face latherer (which I purely am).

Everything about this 22mm shave brush is a joy to use, I really can not find fault with it...

Really great brush perfect size for me to load up for a two pass shave holds heat well and makes a great on face lather. Hasn't shead one bit and has a great backbone. I should have bought this months ago when I first saw it.

When I started DE shaving I got a silver tip badger brush (I didn't have much success with boar hair) and during the ten years that followed I never thought about getting any other brush. Then I started to see videos online proclaiming the merits of the newer synthetic brushes (thanks Chris Bailey) and I got curious. They were inexpensive enough so I thought I'd give it a try. So I bought the 26 mm (Kong) from Stirling. That was about five months ago and since then I have used my badger brush maybe four times. The Kong handle is a little too big for my hands if I'm using a soap that needs more attention so I ordered the 22mm as well.

These brushes are amazing. They can hold a great amount of water, they feel extremely soft on the face and have never caused me any irritation, they produce a much thicker lather than I've ever been able to get from my silver tip and a lot more quickly as well. And I get great comfortable shaves from using them.

I still may reach for my badger once in a while for old times sake, but if I'm just interested in a great and easy lathering experience as well as a great shave these just work better.

I prefer synthetic brushes, and had been looking for one which is small enough for use when traveling. This one is perfect! It fits nicely into a used medium-size prescription medication bottle to which I had added a few ventilation holes in the sides and top -- protects the brush when in my dopp kit, but allows it to dry. It is very soft and pleasant to use, has enough backbone for face lathering, and dries quickly. The price is extremely reasonable. If you have never tried a synthetic brush, I'd recommend this or one of the other Stirling synthetic brushes if you prefer a larger brush size.

I'm a relative wet shave noob. The only other brush I had was a $12 Escali badger brush from Amazon. It smelled bad to start and took a while to break in. Then it got matted down in the middle. It still worked, but overall it was crappy.

Upgrading to the Lil Brudder was night and day. It builds up an amazing lather and holds more than enough soap for 3 or even 4 passes. I love having some backbone to lather the soap and do a face lather. I can't compare it to other types/sizes, but it is unbeatable for the money (IMHO of course).

I have two boar brushes and a badger brush. The Li'l Brudder is now my favorite one. Very happy I decided to purchase it.

I've been using omega boar and this is better. Lots of lather, soft, tons of back bone, good size but I prefer a smaller size.

I went from their Kong 26 mm brush that I loved and tried this lil brudder. I have to say I haven't used the Kong since. It's soft but has a ton of backbone. Best brush I have.

This is an excellent brush, especially for the money. Does not perform quite as well as a $100 best badger, but for $20, it's a great brush. Much better than a $20-$30 badger brush.
