**Please Note: This batch of brushes have less wavy hairs than previous batches. While there are the same number of hairs, this makes the brush feel less dense. They are still very close to previous batches but we have put these on sale as they are not the same as before.

Many noted it "performs superbly" at an "unbelievable price." However, one customer reported the handle chipped quickly from bowl contact. Overall, shoppers appreciated the softness, durability, and exceptional value.

The weight feels nice, the brush is soft and easy to use.
As always outstand service and quality products.
Very soft but firm. Great brush.
I used to have a cheap boar bristle brush. I much prefer this one. It lathers quickly, holds lather well for repeat passes, and feels very nice on the skin.
This is my first brush so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems nice. The handle like the right size for my hand to hold without too much effort and it doesn’t take up too much or too little of my face. The bristles are also really soft.
You can't beat this brush. I have it in a brush roll in my dopp kit for travel. My badger brush stays at home because, well, you know how Badgers are when they get loose!. If I didn't know, I would never guess that this is a synthetic brush. And as usual, Rod's service was excellent.
Works great! Still looks brand new despite using it daily over the last couple weeks.
This is my first shave brush. I was surprised how soft it is and I really like it. Works great making lather from the Stirling shave soaps. I don't have anything else to compare it to, but I don't have any complaints. I wonder if I'd prefer a longer handle because the lather does seem to creep up the handle when paired with the collapsible silicon bowls.
I bought the synthetic brush, stand and barbershop soap and couldn’t be more pleased. Decades ago I tried some natural brush and a bar soap type shave system and went back to disposable razors. For my average beard and skin this brand suits me well. I consider myself a buyer for life. Thanks
Feels good to use, but I had the handle chip on me pretty quickly, most likely from hitting the walls of my lather bowl. Won't last very long unless you lather on your skin. Maybe a few dozen uses at most.
I have many brushes...both natural and synthetic. This brush is on another level. Right out of the box I was super impressed just by looking at it. The quality of the bristles is hard to believe until you see it.
They are super soft and supple without loosing any backbone.
It is comparable to the finest silvertip I have.
If I had a complaint it would be the handle. I am not a fan of fat short handles. But I suppose with the size of the knot it is bound to happen. I just wish it was a bit longer and a deeper groove to get a good grip.
Highly recommend at any price.
I received this baby as a gift a while back and I use it exclusively for my Stirling shave soaps. I have to tell you, Stirling's synthetic brush puts my badger version to shame!
The bristles on this brush soak up and hold water like a fine sponge, allowing me to generate a rich, creamy, luxurious lather that helps my razor blade glide effortlessly across my skin.
Even better, I've noticed no bristle loss using this item!
There are those who feel that synthetics don't compare to natural bristles, but I say Stirling's brush not only holds its own, it arguably knocks many of the natural hair bristles out of the park.
This has the best backbone of any plissoft-style brush I have tried. This brush can be used with hard soaps whereas my Fine and Razorock plissoft’s are only good for bowl-lathering creams. I now understand why this brush and the Kong are so highly regarded in the wet-shaving community.
My cherry SOC sits on the shelf looking forlorn. Sorry, old buddy, but there's a new sheriff in town. This brush just does it all, and does it better. It handles everything I've thrown at it. Triple milled soaps, creams, croaps, you name it, I get wonderful lathers. I can't believe a brush this good costs so little.
What a fantastic value! Wonderfully whips up lather in a bowl. It also splays beautifully and feels nice when applied to the face. In my opinion it may not be as good as boar for face lathering or have the scritch of many naturals but it is diverse and very enjoyable to use.
My budget badger brush was shedding, been wet shaving for 18 months, took a while but I love it, no more ripped up face.
This brush is THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!
I am pretty new to wet shaving and my first brush was the Escali Best Badger from Amazon. Not knowing anything about wet shaving, I thought it's performance was pretty good.....until I bought this synthetic brush from Sterling. The bristles are as soft as can be, yet a nice stiff backbone that lathers quickly and feels great on the face. I can't believe this is synthetic that performs so well at this price point. The only critical comment is the handle. It looks great but there is a very small flair at the end which makes the angles somewhat sharp and difficult to hold on to. If I had one thing I would change,it is the handle but the performance is so great for the price I feel guilty even mentioning that small issue. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
This is my first synthetic brush. I've owned some cheap badgers and budget boar hair brushes, and one budget horse hair, but so far this brush is looking to trump them. I've used it probably half a dozen times so far. It feels great on my face, is firm but soft, hardly sheds at all like my other brushes, and hasn't picked up any odor (yet, we'll see). I know I haven't used it much, but I'm very impressed with the brush so far.
New to wet shaving, this is my first brush. Very nice and soft. Get a good lather.
I love this brush! I don't have many brushes in my den but this is by far my favorite.
This is the first brush I have owned, so I cannot compare it to others, but it is soft, but has enough backbone to lather hard picks well.
This is perhaps my favorite brush in my collection and used the most I might ad. Its great for lathering any soap and the price is unbelievably cheap!!
I have all 3 sizes of Stirling's synthetic brushes and I really like all of them. Soft, dense, and with a little backbone but not too much. For the price, these are great!
In my opinion, perfection.
Is is the first synthetic brush I have bought in some years and was not disappointed. The handle is perfect and the knot is outstanding. Lathers very easily and dries quickly for a thick brush. Highly recommended.
Es el mismo pelo sintético de la plisson de loccitane pero con mayor diámetro de nudo y el pelo es más corto por lo que la hace perfecta para espumar en cara
All has been said and well said about this brush.
This is my favourite brush and i will pick an other one soon (bigger for changing)
I am a Female, and been using my husband hard shaving soaps to shave. He surprised me with this brush after my crappy amazon brush gave out. Has Great back bone! Lathers shaving soap beautifully! High quality as well. Couldn't be happier! Can't beat the price as well!
This thing is so soft. Plenty of backbone for me, not floppy at all and it splays easily enough. After the fourth use it has not shed anymore.
I originally purchased the "Kong" brush and this one is every bit as good but with a little more control. This would also be very useful as a travel brush.
I have 2 badgers 1-pure, 1 silver tip and a boar hair. This brush feels better on my face than any of the others. 24mm knot is perfect so soft with good backbone. Lathers up just as good if not better than the silver tip. The handle is perfect big enough my hand never feels cramped like with some of my other brushes and it has a nice weight to it. The packaging is classy and professional I just can't say enough good things about this brush. My first purchase with Stirling Soap Co. I'll be back ! The brush is an exceptional value, performance the feel of luxury on your face. Thanks Stirling Soap Co.
