The sample sent with my very first order has a mesmerizing smell; I actually keep the flat little sample under my pillow. This sample initiated a quest to duplicate the smell, but in a full size product. I first started with the Almost Heaven lotion. That product is extremely emollient, but the scent was off and lacking, when compared to the sample soap. Then, I purchased three bars of the bath soap in Almost Heaven scent. No begonias. The bar was more tallow and less scent, having an almost "fatty" smell when compared to the sample. Getting desperate, I then tried the shave soap in Almost Heaven, buying four small discs, which came out to a little over $15. The Almost Heaven shave soap has even less scent than the Almost Heaven bath soap. I think my situation is unique. I had too much hope that the other products will match the sample soap, but neglecting to account for the differences in ingredients, proportions, and intended usage, that together may be why the Almost Heaven sample bar soap scent could not be duplicated. I tried.

I received a sample of this soap with my order. The scent is very nice. You first smell the flowering peonies and then the rest of the subtle scents build in. This is a very feminine scent but one you want to smell on others. I gave this sample to my daughter and she loves it. The scent lasts all day but doesn't reach for the nose. You definitely have to be in the proximity to get the scent. Just like the other Stirling soap I have used, the wash from this is nothing short of amazing. Stirling soap has somehow found a way to lift the dirt away from your skin while making it feel like putting on a slick body butter lotion. Your skin feels soft and healthy after your wash. I'm excited to keep trying new scents with this company.

Bought this for my wife and she said the name on the packaging must be wrong and said "it should be named Pure Heaven". The scent is amazing and she loves the way the soap makes her skin feel. Will definitely be purchasing this again.

I got a sample of this with an order a little while back. It's definitely more of a feminine scent to my nose, but also just a clean enough smell that guys can use it too. Smells like classic soap.

This is the only soap my entire family uses (2 young kids and a wife). Its mild fragrance is good for both men and women. Its the only soap that doesnt dry us out. Stirling you guys ROCK!!!

You sent a sample and my wife loved it, so I have now purchased 3 bars and will be buying more. I like the fragrance when she uses it...it is my idea of a wonderful aroma, very delicate, and very feminine. Don't change anything.

Almost Heaven is definitely a feminine scent, and the combinations of oils and tallow leaves my skin incredibly soft. Don't even need to put lotion on after a shower. I've sampled several of the soap scents, and have to stay with Almost Heaven as my preferred.

My wife has very sensitive skin due to her being a Ginger. She always has trouble with commercial soaps. I finally got her to try some Stirling and she loves them. They don't irritate her skin and the scents are great. Can't go wrong with these soaps.

Purchased this Almost Heaven soap to placate my wife when I ordered a number of shaving products from Stirling. She loves the smell; not too overpowering but just strong enough to be pleasant. She has been using it daily for two weeks and the bar is still going strong; it seems like it will last a good while. She said that the next time I order shaving soap, I better order her a number of these bath soaps too. Highly recommended!

Purchased several soaps as gifts. My wife has tried this one and loves it. Feels remarkably different from store soaps. Lathers very easily and well. Leaves skin feeling moisturized. She loves the way it feels on her skin. Scent is wonderful.

My wife really like the smell of this one. Mild, not overpowering. The first I noticed about this soap is how clean it rinses. No film left behind that I can tell. We're two weeks into this bar, and it's hardly showing any wear. This is going to last quite a while. I think we're done with commercially made soaps.
