Super soft and creates an awesome lather. Love the unscented-ness.

This is my daily shave soap. On my second puck now. Good stuff. Finding a good combo with razor, soap and handle is a big deal. I am locked in now on all 3. I'm not into all the scents. This is just good smooth soap, no frills, it just works. Tallow based is the way to go, at least for my skin.

Not everything needs to be scented! This is a fantastic soap for those who are looking for a luxurious lather with no frills.

This shaving soap loads effortlessly onto a synthetic brush—literally 10 seconds of swirling is plenty. Within moments it turns into a thick, creamy lather that isn't airy or bubbly. The glide is excellent. My razor doesn't skip or drag once during my standard two-pass shave. Even with moderately hard tap water, the lather holds its structure without turning chalky or drying out on my face mid-shave. Rinsing off leaves my skin feeling moist—no tightness. I have been using a national brand shave soap, which gives fair lubrication and comfort. The tallow and lanolin in Naked & Smooth provide a significantly smoother and more comfortable shave. For me, the irritation and razor burn I had been experiencing have been minimized. Great product!

This shaving soap lathers up very nicely when using a brush, but also just with the hands. This makes it a great choice for traveling light! I know some prefer the scented soaps, but I appreciate the lack of extra fragrance.

I used the 1.0 oz. sample puck and simply folded it to break into quarters, then layered two pieces atop each other for a very compact bar (it fits in the Altoids "smalls" tin at 2.25x1.5 inches). To the folks at Stirling: offering compact-sized versions of your bar soaps for travel might be worth considering.

I love this stuff. Been using the shave soap for my head for a few years now. No smelly scents, no skin irritations, no problems. I’ve been bald for 15 years and the shave soaps here are all I use now.

I tried several different shave soaps. My face tends to react to fragrance and additives. This shave soap was the most smooth and best feeling shave soap I have ever used. No irritation and no harsh smell or burning.

I have been enjoying the use of your Shave Soap for a while. I must say, the packing material used in the most recent order was not good. For future orders, please use a material such as bubble wrap, or at least something that is in one piece, rather than whatever that is that was messy & could be much more “user friendly”. Thank you.

Awesome stuff if you can’t handle strong, scented shave soups this be an excellent excellent substitute for you and their aftershave with it goes great too. If you have issues with floral or other smells that are too strong for you to be an excellent excellent substitute for you.

No “natural” smell which is great. I work in a fragrance free workplace (healthcare) and thus fits the bill. Excellent glide and residual slickness. Awesome shave soap!

This one is a good idea if you have a hard time with strong smells or you don’t want to mix some sents together or you can add it to your favorite shave cream or soap

I am by no means a shaving enthusiast or expert. But I do like quality products. Those with fewer and natural ingredients are always preferred. I tried a variety of different shave soaps and found Stirling's to be the best for my skin and shaving routine. It's pleasant to use, provides good lubricity, and most of all it doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. I'm also quite smell sensitive and find it non-irritating in that regard as well. The Stirling Naked & Smooth is really a great unscented shaving soap. I buy everything unscented. I am super sensitive to perfumes and strong scents. This soap gives me a excellent Smooth comfortable shave.

You can't beat Stirling soaps. It lathers like crazy, leaves skin smooth and the cost per OZ is best there is.

Naked and Smooth, is the best shave soap I've ever used and I've gone through a lot. Never had a more comfortable shave that left my face feeling nicer than its ever felt from a shave soap and not irritated from fragrance after a day. Please never stop making it! Its gold. Lather and glide is perfect and face feels buttery smooth after. Im a night shaver and my skin actually looked better and clearer the next more after switching to it.

I am in a big move to simplify my life, and that involves getting rid of a lot of things that I realized were just hanging around. That hanging around stuff included lots of shave soaps, shaving creams, razors, shave brushes, aftershaves and colognes. For a long time shaving became a hobby that got away from me. The more the better. No longer.

Slowly, I am using these things up, selling them or giving them away.

My goal is to get down to the basics, the few items I actually need and that included the few items I need for my daily, enjoyable shave.

One of things I decided to use is an unscented shave soap and my soap of choice was Stirling's Sheep. Good, rich, creamy lather, easy to develop. Always get a BBS shave with it. It works well with any aftershave/cologne scent. Perfect, found my soap.

On a recent order Stirling included a bar of it's unscented Naked and Smooth bath soap, which also comes as a shave soap. Against all better judgement, I ordered some. To my frustration, I liked it for all the reasons I liked Sheep.

Now I will be ordering both. So much for just pairing down to just one soap.

Oh, well, it's good to have a back up, I guess.
