Picked this one up today at my local shop in Springfield Mo. What a great scent! If i close my eyes I am in the middle of a Cedar grove deep in the ozark mountains. Stirling knocked it out of the park, as usual. Fantastic!

This soap lathers extremely well and has a fantastic scent. It definitely gives me that fresh crisp clean smell from camping at a good spot on a lake in the woods.

This was one of the first soaps I bought a few years ago. This is my second jar. This is a very pleasant “pine” scent. Good scent that lasts a while. It fills my shave den with a fresh warm scent.

I really feel you can change the name to Christmas tree. It has that pine type scent that just reminds you of Christmas.

I cannot believe the reviews that indicate this scent is too strong...or even strong enough. I can barely smell it during or after use. There is certainly a hint of Pine or Balsam, though. The soap performs well but I much prefer Coniferous.

Tried this in a sample and was very pleased with the quality so ordered more,like all stirling soaps it gives a great shave. Excellent outdoor scent.

This is my number 2 shave soap. Gives a great shave. Soap smells great, lathers well and slick. Makes de razor glide smooth across the face.

They named this scent perfectly. It is smoky and woodsy and just beautiful. There is a little subtle floral scent in there but just rounds it out nicely. Worth a blind buy.

Ok, well I am from the STL area and have grown up in and around the Ozarks all my life. Camping hunting and adventures in the Ozarks is an exciting time, anytime of the year.
This scent to me is similar to the area. It is heavy on the pine trees and the cedar trees of the Ozark mountains.
I also picked up a lemon scent??
It does have a nod to Arko, however it doesn't have the hard hitting PUNCH that Arko has which keeps it barely usable.
This one has a fresh zing to it, fills the shave den. It is light and crisp but has good lasting power, much like a mountain in the Ozarks does.
The girlfriend says I smell fresh and inviting and easy to approach!

Man is the performance on this soap spectacular. The scent is joyful.

I am from the STL region and have been to the Ozarks, mid Missouri tons of times growing up and as adult. I've tried to put a description on it until my wife finally lit a lightbulb over my head. It kind of smells like the bus coming out of a float trip. Everyone is a bit sweaty (but have been in the water so it's not a stench) with woodsy scent coming in the windows. It's pine/cedar but a bit sweet.

I've tried a fair amount of shave soaps from Stirling. However, not enough to say I have a favorite. This was the first one I tried. Haven't been to the mountains yet (4/7/2022), so, I cannot confirm nor deny whether it actually smells like the Ozarks.

I have been backpacking in the Ozarks for over 20 years. I have laid my head down for the night after a long day of hiking and this soap smells just like the Ozarks. Amazing!

Great product has a woodsy/spice scent that the wife loves

Like some other comments, not so much woody spicy as just lye soapy clean... which is another Ozark vibe in its own right. I feel like this soap is what I was wanting Arko to smell like (which instead in reality just smells like urinal cakes). So I guess it has its merits, but I most likely won't purchase more when I finish off what I have.

This is a great soap as all the stirling soaps are. It smells like clean fresh laundry to me though. I don't get any of the woodsy or spicy notes, it's just a really clean and fresh scent. Not exactly what I was expecting but it's great, I'd order it again.

About two months ago I purchased the Ozark Mountain shave soap and the aftershave splash. The shaving soap produces a thick lather and provides a great shaving experience. Following up with the aftershave splash is nothing short of being the icing on the cake. This is my all-time favorites and I thank you for producing both.
